
Alois was rather surprised Ciel gave in after only a minute of arguing on the matter. Usually he put up more resistance to entertaining Alois, and it was almost enough to rouse the blonde’s suspicions. Almost.
It wasn’t until the borderline threat came that Alois’ confusion did grow. Was that a legitimate one, or…..?

Ciel completely forgot hospitality now, and he folded his arms over his waist and tilted his head to the side. “How could I possibly know that you were on your way here?”

Acting wasn’t one of Ciel’s strong points, but maybe he wasn’t entirely lying. In fact, all he was doing was playing a game with a boy. An unfair one, certainly. Not once has he lied, technically, even though his tone was mocking and satirical. “Shall I call my butler to bring tea?”
