
Greed couldn’t help but curve his lips into a small smirk. He obviously troubled the boy with his ‘callings’. That was something that always amused Greed, the frustration of humans. It seemed they always got so defensive, and the tone of child’s voice implied just that. “Directions? That’s all? Pay me some loot, and there ya go.”
The delight of getting something, even small amount of cash, pleasured Greed. Especially when the giver, in this case, was a helpless little boy. To Greed it was like stealing candy from a baby… an ugly baby that is.
“I highly doubt you’re worth a pence,” he uttered, his eyes closing as if to shut the stranger out. What a greedy, sluggish man. Ciel could figure out the map and be on his way by himself, considering he only spoke to the man for his suspicious demeanor. The man proved himself useless - and quite annoying - so he had no reason to continue the conversation any longer. With that, Ciel began to walk along the path once more.
