Well how am I supposed to know that? As long as you killed me, why the hell would you care how you did it?
Not that Alois particular wanted to entertain the thought of him dying, at the hands of Ciel or not. Death wasn’t something Alois liked to think on at all. Alois was nervous about it, not to mention wary. But letting his guard down in front of a Phantomhive was just asking for trouble, inviting him to make good on his word on doing something from poisoning him to whatever.
Alois just frowned when the Phantomhive butler made his appearance, his usual hatred of the butler coming through, and he didn’t bother hiding it much. He eyed the tea cup set in front of him, and he slowly raised the teacup closer to his lips. Given the fact that his arrival had been an unplanned one, and the fact that since Alois came through the front door, Ciel hadn’t been out of his sight, so unless the two were somehow psychic, Alois saw no reason to be wary of the tea. It smelled normal in addition to that.
You didn’t do anything to this, did you?
After Sebastian was dismissed, Ciel stared at Alois for a few moments. Eyeing him almost, as if expecting him to fade away or explode into oblivion. Either would be beneficial. Maybe if he did poison the tea, this entire charade would end here and now. But it was impossible for it to have any kind of substance in it other than what his butler had mentioned. The tea was not separated in any way, so if there was a deadly drug in there, they would both receive the effects.
The thought made him a little uneasy, though the tea tasted just fine. Why should he be paranoid of such a thing? It was silly. He put the cup of tea back on the cart, and tapped his walking stick in front of him. The young Phantomhive gripped on the handle tightly, as he thought about his next move.
It was like a present, seeing him here completely defenseless. Though not honorable in the least, he could find a way to take out Alois Trancy right now. No one would have to know of the crime or of Ciel’s murderous intent, and the problem would be gone. It was that simple. “Alois..” he started a sentence with the boy’s name, but he stopped, his thumb feeling the top of his cane as he thought about his words.

But, sometimes, it was best not to speak.
In less than a second, the stick was pointed threateningly at the earl Trancy. The tea cup in the boy’s hand was knocked right out, the cup shattering on the floor along with the remainder of tea. Ciel’s glare was cold and vicious. He knew damn well what he could do next. There were plenty of possibilities. But as of right now, he decided to pursue his current action by stepping forward and pressing the stick against Alois’ throat. “You fool, what do you think you would have obtained by coming here alone? An idiot like you doesn’t deserve to see the light of day." His tone was cold, heartless.
Alois winced with each step he took, no matter how much care he took with each of them to not jostle his shoulder,...
Sebastian leaned up straight when he saw the suffering boy force himself to stand. His hand returned to his side and his...
