Alois knew falling to his knees was probably one of the worst things he could do given the development of the situation. Giving Ciel an even bigger position of power was not doing Alois any favors. Shoulders shaking (and his face flinching as a result, his collarbone was fractured, if not broken. As of right now, it was throbbing, even with Alois massaging it in a futile effort to stave away some of the pain.
Documents….. Ciel I don’t even know what you’re talking about! I never did anything of the sort!!
At this point, Alois was scared. He had no clue as to what Ciel was talking about. He knew the Phantomhive manor burned down some years ago, but whoever said anything that Alois was the culprit behind it, that was news to him. And how Ciel even came about that false knowledge was an even bigger mystery to him.
Trying to lift his right arm but crying out in pain after it reached a certain point, Alois changed arms and reached out towards Ciel. His voice was shaky, and tears were starting to form at the corner of his eyes.
Ciel I didn’t do it! I never did anything to your manor, I promise!
Ciel’s harsh glare on the boy didn’t lighten as he desperately tried to convince him otherwise. He saw the evidence clear as day, and there was no turning back on it. What was happening was important. This needed to be done.
The cry of pain from Alois made Ciel’s eye widen. He didn’t know he had that kind of strength, but maybe it wasn’t all entirely his. It was like he was in a trance, a haze of anger and hatefulness. The earl usually never got his hands dirty, so maybe this was why he was hesitant. It was more likely Sebastian to get blood on his hands, however Ciel saw his fair share of deaths. He glowered down at Alois, watching the tears dot his eyes.
“Don’t lie to me you filthy rat!” he yelled, swinging the cane down onto the poor boy once more. It hit the same spot on his shoulder, and Ciel lost his grip so the cane bounced off and rolled away from him after the hit. The young earl was visibly shaking now, and his eyes were wide. He didn’t have a gun, or any other weapon besides his fists. “Sebastian,” he called, and in only a few moments, the demon responded. “Yes, my Lord?”
Alois winced with each step he took, no matter how much care he took with each of them to not jostle his shoulder,...
Sebastian leaned up straight when he saw the suffering boy force himself to stand. His hand returned to his side and his...
