Alois took a few steps toward the captive earl. He leaned forward, cupping one hand around his ear and pressing in close to the boy’s lips, as though he were listening hard. From the strangled gasps came three short syllables, “Se.. bast.. ian..” So, he was trying to call his own butler to his aid! Alois couldn’t have that. It would ruin all of his fun. Claude was a strong demon, but Sebastian had over powered him many times in the past and easily taken his master back. Today simply would not be one of those times.

“Trying to call your butler, are you?” the blonde sighed, “Come now. You’re just no fun, Ciel. You don’t really want to spoil our game, do you?” He stood up straight again, reaching his hand forward and snatching at Ciel’s eye patch, tearing it away from his eye. A disgustingly wonderful thought came to him. “Maybe if we get rid of that silly seal of yours, the contract between you and that trash will be broken, hm? What do you say? After all, you already wear this silly eye patch all the time. It won’t make that much of a difference.” He dangled the patch in front of Ciel’s face as he said this, gently waving it from side to side.

As the light entered his now uncovered eye, the seal burned it’s purplish hue and Ciel continued to gasp for air. His eyes were wide now that the Trancy earl revealed his idea to the other. If the seal was broken, then Ciel would probably be killed and Sebastian would not get his meal. More importantly, he wouldn’t be able to kill the person who burned down his manor! To have that taken from him would be unforgivable. He already lost too much to lose the one thing he prides himself on. Revenge.

He was staring straight at the earl. He needed to think of a plan and fast. How could he escape from the butler? The tight grip was getting less and less bearable. It stung just to breathe, or move even slightly. Whatever game they were playing in fact wasn’t as fun as the others. In fact, it was even difficult. But Ciel was the gamemaster - there was no way he’d lose.

“C-Come…” he almost had it out. “Sebas…” another rough squeeze, “Se..” He should have known this would happen. The constant squeeze along with the pain and pressure factor caused the young earl to go limp in the demons arms. His eyes fell shut and he laid hunched over like a dead body. Darkness was all he saw as he blacked out of the world. No. I can’t do this now– but it was too late.
