“What’s the matter, Phantomhive?” the blonde laughed in his face. He could tell the earl was panicked by the way he frantically surveyed the room, and that amused him to no end. There was no where for Ciel to run now and it was apparent that Sebastian wouldn’t be coming to his rescue anytime soon. Alois definitely had the upper hand and he planned to use that to its full advantage.

“Is it really so bad waking up beside me?” he taunted, leaning in toward the earl. He traced the boy’s chest with his index finger. What type of reaction would such a gesture pull out of this boy?

“Not going to lose to scum are you?” he mused, “That’s all well and good, but today you’re losing to Alois Trancy.”

The closeness didn’t help his accelerated heartbeat. His eye twitched at the touch, his body completely tensing under the other’s finger. He had to get as far away from Alois as possible, even if it’s just the other side of the room. After a moment, he grabbed around Alois’ wrist, gripping it tightly to have some type of control. “Don’t flatter yourself,” he spat, then pushed the boy’s hand away from him. 

“You are scum.”

It didn’t feel right to keep himself under the blankets - or in the bed at all. He threw of the covers and got off the bed as quickly as possible. He went for the door, slipping a pale hand around the knob only to find out it was locked. Of course - it wouldn’t be that easy. Ciel exhaled deeply and backed away from the door. He went over it in his head: Even if he could get out of the room, he wouldn’t know where to go. The Trancy manor wasn’t much different than his, but the darkness that enveloped the hallways would disorient his direction - no matter how much he delved into it. “How long do you plan on keeping me here?” he asked, his glare shooting back at the blonde.
